Weekdays 9 to 5: 15 services publish a price, from €34.99 (median €39). Weekday evenings and early mornings: 6 publish a price, from €34.99. Weekends: 7, from €34.99.
A €34.99 consultation costs €27.99 after 20% tax relief.
Claiming the 20% back
Fees for a doctor’s services qualify for medical expenses tax relief at 20%. PAYE workers can claim through Revenue myAccount during the year, or for up to four previous years through an income tax return. You can’t claim for amounts an insurer or anyone else paid back. Keep your receipts.
